Registration

General information

• Registration is mandatory for all participants.
• Presenting authors must attend in person. Online presentations are not possible.
• Oral sessions will be live-streamed (one-way streaming). Virtual participation is available only for non-presenting attendees.
• Please note that places for on-site participation are limited. Early registration is recommended.

Registration fee

• In-person participation: 350 CHF *
• Virtual participation: 60 CHF **
• Public keynote only: free (register here)

* Includes access to all sessions and tutorial(s), coffee breaks, icebreaker, conference dinner. Lunch is not included.

** Includes access to live-streamed sessions only.

• Early March - Registration opens
• April 30, 2025 - Registration deadline for in-person participation (closed)
• May 28, 2025 - Registration deadline for virtual participation (closed)

Refund policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason (e.g., illness).
• Exception: Full refund for visa rejection upon submission of an official refusal document (for more information see below).

Visa information

• A personalized invitation letter for visa application purposes will only be issued for presenting authors upon request after full payment of the registration fee. The purpose of the invitation letter is to assist in the visa or funding application process. The EXCLAIM Symposium does not provide any financial support to its participants.
  
• If a visa application is rejected, participants may request a full refund by providing the official rejection letter from the embassy.
• Please visit the external page website of the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs and contact your local embassy for further information concerning the documents required to obtain a visa. It is advisable to start the visa application process as early as possible.
