Guidelines for oral presentations

Presentation time

  • Keynotes: 30 minutes (25 min for presentation + 5 min for Q&A)
  • Regular presentations: 15 minutes (12 min for presentation + 3 min for Q&A)
  • The allocated presentation time cannot be exceeded. During your presentation, a timekeeper will inform you about the remaining time. 

Slides

  • Format: PowerPoint *.pptx
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
  • Use standard fonts to avoid formatting errors during presentation

Technical setup

  • A laptop for the presentation will be available on-site and operated by a technician. 
  • Using your own laptop for presenting will not possible.
  • No speaker view can be shown. Speakers' notes should be printed out if needed.
  • All speakers are equipped with a headset to which a receiver is attached, which must be fastened to the clothing. Wearers of a dress should provide a corresponding option.
  • Please pick up your headset at least 20 minutes before your session starts.

Presentation upload

  • Presentation files must be uploaded at least 24 hours before the scheduled presentation.
  • File naming convention: Session_[A/B/C/D]_[Lastname]_[Firstname]
  • The upload link was sent via email. If you have not received it, please contact us at
  • Large videos should be delivered also as individual files to ensure a high-quality display.

Language

  • All presentations must be in English.

Guidelines for poster presentations 

Poster size and format

  • Recommended poster format: A0 portrait
  • Poster board dimensions: 120 cm (width) x 180 cm (height)

Poster presentation time

  • The posters will be on display for the entire duration of the symposium.
  • There are two dedicated poster sessions:
    Monday, June 2, 2025, 17:45 - 20:00
    Tuesday, June 3, 2025, 15:30 - 18:00

Poster setup

  • Posters must be printed in advance and brought by the presenter to the symposium.
  • Please mount your posters right after your arrival to the symposium. Pins will be provided.
  • Check the assigned number to your poster and display your poster on the corresponding numbered board.

Poster removal

  • Please remove your posters on Wednesday, June 4, during the lunch break.
  • Any posters left on boards on Wednesday, June 4, after 15:30 will be discarded.

Language

  • All presentations must be in English.
